Eligibility Criteria

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION :

Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate.-
  • a)The Candidate should be an Indian National;
  • b)Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical orVocational subjects, and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and obtained score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.
Or
  • a) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);
  • b)Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognized University as defined by UGC and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.
All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu and KashmirMigrant Candidature Candidates.-
  • a)The Candidate should be an Indian National;
  • b)Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics andMathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of theChemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical orVocational subjects and obtained at least 50% marks (at least45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Personswith Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only)in the above subjects taken together and obtained score in JEEMain Paper I or in CET conducted by the Competent Authority;
Or
  • a)Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);
  • b)Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognized University as defined by University Grants Commission and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.
NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, foreign National.-
  • The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50% marks in the above subjects taken together
For Maharashtra Candidature Candidate and All India Candidature Candidate
  • a)The Candidate should be an Indian National;
  • b)Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent, with at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only)
  • c) Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant course of Engineering and Technology as specified in the eligibility criteria for admission to a Post Graduate Degree course of the concerned University for which
  • d)Obtained score in Graduates Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology;
  • Or
  • For sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of full time work experience in a registered firm/ company/industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.
Children of NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National.—
  • a)Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent, with at least 50 % marks;
  • b)Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant course of Engineering and Technology as specified in the eligibility criteria for admission to a Post Graduate Degree course of the concerned University for which admission is being sought.

Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate.-

  • a) The Candidate should be an Indian National;
  • a) Passed SSC or its equivalent examination from recognized institution with at least 35% aggregate marks.
  • c) (iii) Candidates who have passed Math’s/ Mathematics (code 71 for Maharashtra State Board) and Science & Technology (code 72 for Maharashtra State Board) are only eligible for admission.
All India Candidature Candidates/ Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates/ Government of India Nominee Candidates.-
  • a)The Candidate should be an Indian National;
  • b) Passed SSC or its equivalent examination from recognized institution with at least 35% aggregate marks.
  • c) Candidates who have passed Math’s/ Mathematics (code 71 for Maharashtra State Board) and Science & Technology (code 72 for Maharashtra State Board) are only eligible for admission
Minority Candidates.-
  • a)The Candidate should be an Indian National
  • b) Passed SSC or its equivalent examination from recognized institution with at least 35% aggregate marks.
  • c) Candidates who have passed Math’s/ Mathematics (code 71 for Maharashtra State Board) and Science & Technology (code 72 for Maharashtra State Board) are only eligible for admission.
  • d)Candidate must be Maharashtra Domiciled and belonging to particular linguistic or religious minority community (Muslim/ Buddhist/ Christian/ Shikh/ Parsi/ Jain) from within the state and as notified by the Government.
Children of NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, foreign National.-
  • a) The candidate should have passed the SSC or its equivalent examination with at least 35 % aggregate marks;
  • b) Candidates who have passed Math’s/ Mathematics (code 71 for Maharashtra State Board) and Science & Technology (code 72 for Maharashtra State Board) are only eligible for admission.
